With all the success we have been having with the song Satellites we personally STOP, take a time out, and thank some people who are a vital part of the song. First off, our co-writer of the song and our producer Kene Bell (prononuced Kenny). Kene is an amazing, gifted producer who has worked with some of the biggest names in Christian music including Toby Mac and Gritz, has Doves and a Grammy nomination, and had a vision for this song as soon as he heard the demo. We are so humbled and honored that he would work with us. He helped us construct the song, co-write it, engineer, record it, and produce it. He even added those awesome horns and some keys you hear! Make no mistake, this song you know and love would not be possible without Kene. Kene spent hours with us in pre-production and even came up here to Michigan to work on the song with us as well as our other single, Thirsty. Kenes spirit, love for the Lord, and passion are all undeniable, yet he remains a humble servant and blesses others with his talents. We are looking forward to our upcoming album and working with him on it! Secondly, we want to recognize some of the people in the background as well. Scott Pergande, another amazing talent whose initial mix was absolutely astounding. Scott has worked with many CCM artists as well and is a master engineer. Joe Baldridge, a literal genius when it comes to micing drums, who set up the engineering session in Nashville. Wil Smith III, who laid some incredible keys down in the song on the B3 organ! Andrew Cromwell, our former drummer, who put some awe-inspiring drum tracks down, what a talent that boy is! Jake Niemi, who worked the remix, amazing talent and top-line producer, mind blowing mixing skills, truly an honor to have him a part of this project! Richard Dodd, who beautifully mastered Satellites to that smooth rich sound, what a tremendous job he did. Suffice to say, we have been blessed with a team, no an army of indiviudals, who have been blessed by God, who abandon themselves for the furtherance of His Kingdom. Thank you all for your service to the Kingdom. We pray that Gods message in Satellites, reaches to those who need to hear of Gods grace, love, and forgiveness and His everwatchful care over us.
