With eviction threats growing, we have to step up the pressure locally and nationally for an end to the Bedroom Tax NOW. MPs debate Abolition of Bedroom Tax tomorrow Tue 12th Can you: - Contact MPs now ( who and how ) - demand they speak out, and sign Early Day Motion 662 - Come to Meeting with MPs from 10am 12th Nov This has moved to Committee Room 12 - go to main entrance opposite Westminster Abbey see map - Join protest outside Parliament Bring banners, posters and speak out from 11am at Old Palace Yard, opposite main entrance. New Anti Bedroom Tax poster attached. Scottish Anti Bedroom Tax Federation will be protesting outside Holyrood at the same time, when the Scottish Parliaments Welfare Reform Committee will also be discussing the bedroom tax More Councils and landlords say they will not evict. Its a start - but we need a public committment that no-one will be evicted, and for politicians to join us to reject the Bedroom Tax, make it unworkable, oppose any eviction and demand Abolition now.
