With regards to the rumor spreading like wildfire that my father, Al Abnoudy, has passed away, it is very much untrue and honestly pathetic. As for the pieces he wrote in Al Masry Al Youm and El Akhbar, two pieces that I, personally, do not agree with, it saddens me to see that people who share my disagreement are reacting in such a negative and aggressive way. We are supposed to be the revolutionaries rooting for democracy and for freedom of speech, and we are supposed to prove the other generation wrong by peacefully agreeing to disagree with their opinion. How can we ask for freedom of speech when we, ourselves, are hypocrites? Think about that for a minute before you post your abusive comments. بشأن ما ورد من أخبار عن وفاة أبي، الأبنودي، هذا خبر بعيد عن الصحة و مؤسف إلى حد كبير. أما عن القصيدتين الآتي كتبهم في كل من المصري اليوم و الأخبار, قصيدتين اختلف معه في أجزاء كثيرة منهما .. يحزنني أن أرى من يشاركون الرأي من أبناء جيلي جيل الثورة يعبرون عن أرائهم بهذا الشكل العشوائي والجارح .. من المفروض أننا جيل الثورة من ينادوا بحرية التعبير عن الرأي والديمقراطية .. كما أن من الحضاري أن نثبت أخطاء الجيل الأكبر بالاتفاق على الإختلاف .. فاقد الشيء لا يعطيه فكيف ننادي بحرية الرأي و نرد بالعكس تماما. أرجو منكم أن تفكروا في هذا قبل أن تقذفوا بتعليقاتكم العنيفة.
