With the elections entering the second half, there are clear signs that the BJP campaign is wilting a bit. Modi is somewhat on the defensive. The swagger has gone. From what I hear from various and varied sources the going has been hard in many areas for the NDA. Whats in the EVMs may hold many a surprise. The crowds at the Modi meetings have become much smaller and less enthusiastic. Looks like the NDA will have to rope in more than one regional party, and at least one of the two or three will demand Modis head before entering a coalition. As our cricket commentators would say:match ej bahut romanchak modh liya hai!
