Witnessed the following in JP court today on a writ of re-entry (where the court orders the defendant to let the plaintiff back into a location): (judge reading the paperwork out loud as a man and woman stood before him): So this is a writ of re entry - you sir claim that she locked you out of your home because you wouldnt introduce her to a man that was with you, you failed to buy her a purse and wouldnt buy her a diamond for mothers day. Do I have that right? (Man nods yes.) (turning to the woman): maam, is this true? You locked this man - your husband-out of your house? (woman): Judge- this whole thing is a fraud. We only got married because he wanted a baby. Judge: This is just JP court - I am dismissing this. You both need district court.
