Woke up early this morning, and just thinking about all the people and things I have to be thankful to God for. Its truly amazing how my attitude and outlook on life changes when I rightly relate myself to God and when I try to do some really simple things that are so powerful....one of the biggest is prayer first thing in the morning and continually at many intervals during the course of the day by simply calling on His name and humbly acknowledging Him as my Lord and Savior and thanking Him knowing Hes the one from whom all blessings flow. I can go from someone who always thought about what I didnt have to feeling blessed for who He has in my life and for what He so graciously has given me. To take my responsibility to my children (even the grown one...whos still my baby too!) seriously but at the same time with so much less stress and drama in the everyday hustle of parenting....and somehow when God is invited into our hearts and our daily lives, there is a miraculous way that He brings with Him so much more of an abundance of love than what I have ever experienced before. I know that life is not always easy and there are many bumps in the road....Ive had more than I can mention, but I caused most of them myself running on self-reliance and self-will, instead of trying (even so imperfectly but still trying) to rely on God and His will as He describes in His Word. and when others are the cause of any bumps, somehow thru trusting God, they are so much easier to overcome and let go of than they ever were before. I dont know what or why I ever lived without Him by attempting to seek Him first and above all else, but I pray that I dont ever forget just how Loving, Peaceful and Powerful God is and how He desires me to have good things especially those qualities that money cant buy, there is no price tag, you can put on Gods love for us and what all He can change in our lives even if our circumstances dont change much, He helps our attitudes about them change, and He can completely change it ALL and help us to live more happily, joyous and free. Thankfully remembering and sharing this morning...How Great our God is!! Hoping you have a Fantastic and Beautiful Wed yall!!
