Woke up early this morning to find my sister on the phone talking to her mum. Then watching her hang up and look at me with teary eyes Its my cousin sis. Without hesitation flights are booked and bag is packed. We both had karakia before leaving and travelling along the road my sisters eyes welled up some more and turned to me saying. Its hard sis cause she is my baby cousin and has 4 children. I am going to make sure our babies are ok. I will work in the kitchen, look after my naan, my mum and I will sit with my cousin and share Jesus with her...time for me to step up. Thank you Lord for keeping your promise and for always guiding the steps of a good woman. Bless my sis Leah Moko Ratana and keep her strong and with courage to shine bright like the diamond you made her to be. Bless the Gage whanau give them comfort I pray amen xx
