Won my first heat and then overall race today at CalSpeed Karting. The heat win was by .014 hundredths of a second. The overall win was by .027 hundredths of a second. I feel honored to be in the company of such excellent drivers as Adam and Riley. They generally place far ahead, so my fortunate kart draws, minimizing my mistakes and a very competitive six time place changing last lap between the three of us was truly a memorable event. I certainly want to thank Charles Eichlin, third place finisher of todays 60 minute iron man endurance event, for his inspirational words of wisdom that helped in my strategy.
