>Wonder Woman< …Hating that he missed Erica, Jamir went - TopicsExpress

>Wonder Woman< …Hating that he missed Erica, Jamir went through his phone, reading old text messages. He was convinced her soothing voice was the only thing that could ease his tension at the moment, but alas, it could not be. Scrolling through his pictures, Jamir stared at her, remembering how she felt to the touch. Far from super-thick, Erica was merely moderately-proportioned, but perfect for him. She boasted intangibles Jamir had come to love and anticipate every time he saw her. He loved her mannerisms…and both the sounds and the faces she made when he slid too deep inside her… Her touch was slow and polished; the sign of a woman who had honed her skills with both experience and her own inherent flair in the task of pleasing a man. It was tragic that being ten years her junior got in the way of what they could have had… Trying to shake her out of his mind, Jamir tried remembering the faces of all the beautiful women he had seen in the past few days in an effort to cancel Erica out, but it proved ineffective. They were not Erica by far. Realizing the next day would be Friday, Jamir quickly tried to remember if he had any assignments due. Convinced he did not, he thought of the SEC building and how nice and edifice it was. Consequently, the SEC building automatically triggered memories of Capricia and her smile. He had forgotten all about her in the midst of recent events. Dialing her number, Jamir leaned against the building as he waited for her to answer. Getting the voicemail, Jamir pocketed his phone and sighed, wishing he could smoke a blunt at that moment. He was definitely stressed out. With the college basketball season kicking off in November, Jamir had decided to lay off the marijuana. The anxiety he now lived with made the once familiar world he had known all his life seem, at times, strange and treacherous…almost alien. Eyes he could not detect remained vigilant, reporting his moves to his nemesis, and attempting to keep his paranoia in check was increasingly pointless. He could not shake the feeling things were headed straight for him…both life-altering and potentially life-threatening things. Malevolent things with high-caliber guns, knives, sociopathic and/or homicidal proclivities, and disheartening revelations to bear. College life thus far proved disappointing, and he hoped he had been too hasty in drawing his conclusion of the experience. His phone rang and he answered, discovering Capricia had returned his call. “Lay it on me,” he answered, relieved. “…[I]Oh[I/]…” Capricia replied. Chuckling, Jamir asked, “What it do, Wonder Woman? Any adventures today?” “Hey, Mr. Freshman. No sir, pretty uneventful day. Just flew my invisible plane a few hours after practice. I guess I’m caught up on my civic duties for a while.” “Truuue…so…you can come out? We can make it an adventure if we try.” “Interesting. Maybe…” she answered, giggling. “It’ll be fun, Caprice. I promise.” “But I just met you a day and half ago…Jamir,” she said, coyly. “You might…abduct me. You know you already threatened to…” “Caprice, who got tha’ super powers, me or you? You scared of a mere man?” “Of course not. I think you got your own super powers though. And you just holdin’ out on me. Anyway, where we meetin’?” “I’m at HC.” “Well I’m in the West Quad. I wanna stay close to where I parked my invisible plane, just in case I got an emergency situation and gotta take off.” “Riiight, I’ll be there shortly,” Jamir said, chuckling. “I take my heroine duties seriously, I’ll have you know. I’ll be waitin’, Jamir…I meant, freshman.” “I’ll show you a damn freshman. I ain’t new to this I’m true to this.” “I can only speculate,” she said, giggling. “That’ll do for now. See you in a few,” Jamir said. “Okay sweetie, think of me…” she said, giggling. “Yes Lawd’, I will,” he said, hanging up. After a brisk walk, Jamir stood in front of the West Quad and he looked around for Capricia. “Are you lost?” Capricia teased, reminding him of the fateful day he crossed her path on campus. Turning to his right, Jamir spotted Capricia as she walked in his direction sipping from the straw of a sixteen-ounce cup in her hand. “I think I’m headed in the right general direction,” Jamir replied, grinning at her. Wearing a tight pink shirt with a deep sweetheart neckline and denim short-shorts, Capricia smiled as she tossed her empty cup in the garbage. Low-top white and pink Nikes left room for Jamir to spy a charm bracelet around her ankle. “Depends on what you try’na get into. Oh wow, did I say that? I meant to say it depends on your destination.” Jamir wore a garnet hoodie, garnet and black basketball shorts and black Lebron nines. “Hmm, I’ll just have to tell you when I get there.” “I’ll bet you would, Slick Rick. You forgot the If…” she replied, with a teasing smile. “Ohh, yeauh, yeauh, yeauuuh, sho’ right. Yo’, let me push that invisible plane real quick. I gotta scoop my peoples up.” Giggling, Capricia replied, “Well ya’ peoples just gonna have to wait, Jamir. You just got here, freshman. You think you gonna get away from Wonder Woman without takin’ her on an adventure? Oh nooo, I can’t let you go yet. Tsk tsk, I’m gonna have to watch you…and I might even be forced to pull out my ‘Lasso of Truth’ to keep you still, busybody. Only people near and dear to my heart get the privilege of whippin’ the invisible jet.” “Ohh, sho’ right. Well I guess I got a lot of work to do. I wanna have tha’ former privilege, to hell with tha’ latter. And can’t nothin’ hold me, not even ya’ lil ‘Lasso of Truth.’” “You talk a good one, freshman,” Capricia replied, delighted by his response, “You Might just make me like you. Big might... Smirking, Jamir rolled his eyes. Mm hm...a wildboy, huh…I love challenges…At this point there’s no question I’m really gonna have to apply myself with you…you excitin’ me, boy…talkin’ like that…” “Well, talkin’ tha’ only opportunity I been given, girl.” Strutting toward him fluidly, Capricia cocked her head to the right as she looked him over with those caramel eyes. “You have a point, Jamir…Opportunity knocks…charm opens doors…so does chivalry. Especially chivalry. Can you remember that for me? It’ll take you far…I promise. Like when you kissed my hand…um, yea…” “Remember? I already knew. You forgot one though.” “Did I? Hmm, that doesn’t happen often…enlighten me.” “Undeniable romantic charisma is often ushered…inside. And it’ll lock you in the room with it.” “I might’ve heard that a time or two…can’t say I know how true it is…yet. Unlike most of these feeble-minded, simple women, I can comprehend the meanings of what you say. So don’t think you gonna just confound me with your double-speak.” “Well I’m glad you can relate, Caprice. So, first things first, you gotta flip for me, you ain’t think I forgot did you?” “Oooohh see, I ain’t got on the right shirt. My girls might fall out.” “I’m sorry? I missed tha’ problem? Or is you scared, cheerleader?” Jamir challenged, smirking. They were a wonderfully ample size and any wardrobe malfunctions would have to be dealt with accordingly. Yes indeed, Jamir thought. Sighing, Capricia brushed past him playfully and climbed to the third step. “Don’t play with me, Slim.” Sitting her cell phone on the step, Capricia held her hands over her chest and bended her knees. Looking behind her to measure, she caught his eyes and winked before she faced forward. Whipping out his phone, Jamir recorded her. “You scared, Wonder Woman?” #BadBloodExcerpt #Capricia #Jamir #WonderWoman
