Woo-hoo! Facebook Family good news of the day number 2! I just received word from #CaptainPlanetFoundation that #BridgingHumanitys #OperationSelfSustainability for Haiti is a go! Will be teaching the kids under the care of LAthletique dHaiti how to grow their own nutritious food and how to make healthy compost. They will receive training in permaculture & biodiversity gardening! Boby cares for over 2000 poor and orphaned Haitian kids. He believes in teaching them sports, pays for their school and provides them with their one and only meal a day. This training and the work we will be doing will help provide the kids with a more balanced meal. As it stands the kids primarily eat past and starch based foods because money is tight!
