Words fail me. Since coming to office Abbott and Hockey have been bleating about a budget emergency and that the age of entitlement is over with a proposal to abolish the Disability Support Pension and the Seniors Health Card. Now today we hear that Abbott will spend $14BILLION on new stealth fighter jets - the biggest single purchase of Defence hardware in history. This is in addition to the Paid Parental Leave scheme to pay rich women to have babies. This governments priorities are stuffed. Lets hope the voters of WA completely neuter this government in the Senate by-election and put it in a holding pattern until it can be kicked out at the next general election.
