Work week dinner and a movie date night tonight. Actually we met and had dinner AT the movie - a slice of pizza for me, a large popcorn for him. We saw St. Vincent and we both loved it. Moved us both to tears at the end. Without giving too much away, its kind of like an extreme About A Boy (the Hugh Grant/Toni Collette/Nicolas Hoult movie). Bill Murray did a fine acting job but oh man is he hard to look at! George Clooney hes not!! The kid who played Oliver was terrific. And it was really great to see Melissa McCarthy in a heartfelt, civilized role instead of her usual gross, vulgar ones. She was very good. And its 2 days in a row Ive seen Naomi Watts in the movies. Go see it - for good laughs and a few tears. Now I have to figure out when were going to see Fury and The Judge (which didnt get great reviews but everyone I have talked to who actually saw it just loved it. Another tearjerker).
