Work will be carried out from Monday 19 January to Sunday 29 March, between 8am and 6pm each day. All work is weather permitting. On behalf of the Highways Agency we will be carrying out barrier replacement work on the promenade on the east end of Marine Parade that runs parallel to the A20, prior to the Port of Dover, Kent. There will be no traffic management needed in place whilst we carry out this work. A small section of the promenade will be restricted in width, but access for pedestrians and cyclists will be maintained throughout. The existing posts and rail barriers have shown severe corrosion, and therefore needs to be replaced in order to maintain pedestrian safety. When will work start and how long will it take?
