Would-be asylum seekers in Afghanistan and Pakistan are the latest targets of a federal government ad campaign, warning that anyone arriving in Australia without a visa will be sent to Papua New Guinea. The Australian Government has set aside $7 million to fund its offshore advertisements on the new asylum seeker plan and will spend $240,000 on the two-week campaign in Afghanistan and Pakistan. m.smh.au/federal-politics/federal-election-2013/government-ad-blitz-on-asylum-seekers-overseas-20130803-2r644.html
