Would like opinions please if you would be so kind. What prevents people/you from attending a protest do you think? Is it finances, duties/obligations, a sense that protesting does not make a difference, fear of reprisals, illness, social anxiety, feeling its a waste of time, not having support from people (eg no one else will come with me), state violence, lack of confidence? The reason I ask and am genuinely interested is because I myself attended The Mass Sleepout in Cornwall. I believe (cannot provide source as of yet please note...) that approx 20,000 people here alone are affected by the bedroom tax however only approx 25 people attended. Grateful for your thoughts on this. - V
