Would you like to learn how to DJ? Unity in the Community in partnership with State Rep Harris will be launching our Listen & Learn monthly speaker series , in which we will give the youth in our community an opportunity to learn about various job professions that might interest them. Our first Listen & Learn session will feature DJ Diamond Kuts , DJ Ant Liva , DJ Jay Rock , DJ Marty Geez , DJ Geez & DJ RL. The youth will have a chance to get up close and personal with the DJs and also actually learn about the basics of DJing by using the equipment. The speaker series will take place on Saturday , April 19th at the Wilson Park Boys and Girls club from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM and we will be serving serving lunch , free of charge. This is a free event and you can RSVP at info@unityinthecommunity215 . This is free for the community and there will be different speakers every month. The flyer for this event will be posted tomorrow. Our purpose and goal is to inspire the youth in our community.
