Wow! From excruciating pain to no pain all... Leslie shares her Plexus journey: I have Trigeminal Neuralgia. For those who dont know, TN causes excruciating pain in the face. TN is dubbed the suicide disease due to the severity of pain. I was diagnosed with TN 4 years ago. My pain from TN is... lightning shocks in my cheeks, eyes, lips, mouth, chin, nose, an ice pick to the ears, extreme tension in the jaw, every single tooth in my mouth feeling abscessed all at once. NOTHING can touch your face. You cant go into the wind, cold, or heat. You cant eat without pain, or brush your teeth. You cant smile, laugh, cry, sometimes even talk. Being shut off causes depression and stress which causes more pain. I have bilateral TN meaning that I am affected on both sides. I also have atypical TN on the left and typical TN on the right.
