Wow! I almost got run down behind Pike Central yesterday evening. I had just finished fueling my bus and was stepping around to get back on it when a silver-looking Suburban (I think) shot between my bus and the gate doing about 40-45 MPH BEHIND the school! Thank goodness I just happened to look up as I stepped out or it would have knocked me to Kingdom Come! I have never seen a vehicle driving that fast behind the school since it has been there. The sad thing is that the vehicle was just coming from the Mullins Elementary driveway to the Pike Central gym. As I left, it was just sitting there in front of the gym.
