Wow!! Into every life a little rain must fall, but we never asked for a hurricane! As most know we have been dealing with Colby and her problems with her as yet undiagnosed form of Vasculitus. She now has a pacemaker, and thank the Lord, it has been helping her and we are thankful. She is still in pain and experiencing problems, but we are grateful for the relief the pacemaker has been providing. On the other front, Kim was recently hospitalized, and just got released yesterday. She had a pretty bad event of short term memory loss, and is still suffering from it though it appears that it is getting a bit better. We were all scared to death that it was a stroke or mini-stroke, a possible case of Spinal Meningitis, or Transient Global Amnesia. It has been somewhat determined that it was a Complex Migrane with the addition of a reaction to a high level of stress and anxiety, most likely caused by Kims dealing with Colbys situation and the fact that she spent 2 weeks in the hospital with her and sleeping on a chair 24 hours a day for over 2 weeks. That being said, we are lucky it wasnt a form of disease that was more dangerous, and have been informed that time will heal all hopefully sooner than later. For those who knew about all of this......thanks for all your prayers..... and for our other friends, we didnt want to worry the many, many friends who love Kim so much. We wanted answers first, and now we feel much better. Thanks to all our friends as you help us deal with so much, and we care about you all as it is our large circle of great friends that help in so many ways.....
