Wow ~ Its all here - the last one. ~She was born my Carebear, and with one smile became his Sweetiepie. Shes been our Crayon, our Bear, shes been Kern, shes been her grandfathers Princess.............and now, shes about to be an OHS Alumni and a Hartwick Hawk. ~Bear, there is something to be said about the bond between a daughter and a mother. How two people can fight like we do, and turn around and sing til 1:00 in the morning practicing for that next competition. You have been my best friend since the minute they said Its a girl....I am so proud of the person you are, the struggles youve overcome, and the goals you have for yourself. You have never let ANYONE or ANYTHING put you down, or change who you wanted to be. ~I remember the first time you beat me bowling, and I knew then how competitive you were. I remember the first time at the Moose when you sang in front of Jakie and Ralph, Kathy and Mark, Dorothy and Randy - and we all just sat there and wondered - how long you had been hiding that talent. Now, I cry everytime you walk on a stage to sing. ~I have had a really tough time this year learning to let go, allowing you to make decisions, and sometimes mistakes.....but understand, that lifes learning doesnt stop when youre all grown up, lifes learning begins when you have children......lifes smiles begin when you have children....I love you with all my heart and sole, Caryn Rachel Balnis, you are every bit and more, that I wished and dreamed you would be. youtube/watch?v=XRbOB43R3U0
