Wow. My time up here in San Francisco has come to a leading end. I graduated Bauman College, gathered, practiced, and retained much wonderful knowledge about cooking, therapeutics, holistic nutrition, culinary arts, and found some really sweet friendships all built around support and new growth. Thank you so much to all my beloved fellow Natural Chefs of 2014! We did it! Today, I had a magical, dream like day with the beautiful, shining, ever so lovely Heather Briscoe... She took me all around the Mission, and we explored Ritual coffee, all kinds of treasured little boutiques including the cheese shop, dandelion chocolates, record store where Tycho prints all of his posters, ali babas cave for lunch, cruised to the amazing pottery shop.. acquired lots of mushroom artifacts, so happy! Started the day with Touble Coffee in the Sunset by the beach, and had a lovely mornig walk on the bluffs with a new sweet friend and puppy... Went to pick up sweet boy Zev from school, trotted down to the food trucks on the Haight with my lovely other mama Laurel Phillips, then met buddies Jeremiah Brown, Samantha Brown, & Renata Foucré for a drink and shenanigans. Finally made it back to the Briscoes home which I feel to be where I feel the most comfort, love, family vibes, & support of this whole journey that Ive been riding on for the past 6 months. I cannot even begin to try to express my gratitude for my journey up here in SF. Started off a big, daunting transition, but it has ultimately been exactly what I had journeyed out to seek. To everyone who has touched my spirit and life force since Ive been up here, a bug huge beaming THANK YOU. Wow. I feel like singing out to the sky right now how happy I feel to have this part of my life unfold the way it did. Sad tone leaving the bay, but I now Ill be back soon, with open arms and uneven bigger open heart fro the next adventure to come. Slipping off to sleep listening to an awesome mix..
