Wow! Those New Jersey girls can really dance and there’s nothing quite as heartwarming as seeing a grown woman dance! Surely one of the most awe inspiring sights since time immemorial. Looking into the front row last night I could be forgiven for thinking I was an extra on The Hullabaloo Show. Security was a bit miffed but nothing bad happened, just a hint of an all out punch up but then everybody calmed down. New Jersey - always a good time! Even with my foot injury. (I’m not going to elaborate- medical details? UGH! I will say that I should be back in form in a week or so). Anyway, it’s not the first time you’ve seen me limping on stage. Cancel a show? Never! I saw T.M. Stevens in town (bass playing legend on the Get Close album) and he took this picture of the Count Basie Theatre with my name in the lights.
