Wow! What a day it has been! Unless you attended Brody Mikel Davenport s Celebration of Life this morning at 10:00 at the 7th and Beech Church of Christ......... well, you couldnt have believed it!!!!? When my Mom and I drove up to the church at 9:30 to meet with the family members at the Life Center it was already swarming with vehicles! Where to park!!?!? Then finally as I opened the door of the Center to go in, it was swarming with family members! I thought, where are we gonna sit in the church?. As we, the family, all filed into the church together to take our rightful seats, we were astounded to see a sea of flowers and people!There was not even standing room only! It was too capacity! Even us family members had to huddle together to be able to sit. It was a beautiful service. The preacher spoke of this unique young man that had touched so many lives. Had given of himself in love and kindness, with the the kind of Christian heart that only a few of us ever get to truly reach in a lifetime. This young man did it in his 23 short years on this earth.
