Wow! What a dream come true! First, I would like to thank God for allowing me to have this incredible opportunity! I hope that I can radiate His love and glory through my year of service. Thank you for all of the love and support that has been showered down on me throughout this wonderful journey. Your sweet notes, gifts, and most importantly prayers were not only a blessing, but they gave me the peace I needed to give my best throughout the entire week. I cannot wait to work towards my goal of becoming Miss America and being a voice for children. Healthy Bodies, Happy Hearts will be able to touch lives across the state as I travel and advocate for healthy lifestyles. I absolutely love this great state and I am honored to represent the land of enchantment. I am New Mexico True and cannot wait to put this state on the map at Miss America! Being born in Las Vegas, raised in Roswell, and having covered just about every road in this state for 4-H and FFA, I am so grateful to represent my home! I promise to be the same Jessi who loves every little girl with glasses, remembers her agricultural roots, and who strives to be a role model each and every day. Thank you again for supporting me on this amazing adventure! No matter where God takes me next, I trust his plan, and will serve him wherever I may go.
