Wow, if you werent at the meeting you sure missed A LOT!! Here are the highlights: * Perlecia Mullen-Rando has agreed to take on more of an official leadership roll (since she was doing 90% of the footwork anyway) and I will be stepping into the official Treasurers position. In addition to Perlie and I, other committee members are Aaron Mason, Whitney McAllister Franklin and Scott Cooper. * OUR REUNION PLANS HAVE CHANGED!! We are moving the Sunday picnic/BBQ event to Saturday afternoon to give more people a chance to come and travel home on Sunday. Repeat THERE IS NO SUNDAY EVENT -- ONLY FRIDAY AND SATURDAY. Please check the events list for more information. * We are still having a yardsale on May 9th run by Whitney & Steve Franklin. Donations are accepted up until May 8th so get to spring cleaning and call/text Whitney to set up a drop-off time. * I will be setting up a bank account for the reunion as well as a paypal account and (possibly) a GoFundme account to take donations and pay for raffle tickets for the KeHS quilt made and donated by TJ Mettling. * We will be selling raffle tickets for the quilt at the following events/locations: May 1-- Thursday Art Walk at Paper Street Alehouse (downtown Kennewick) May 10 -- Classy Chassy Car Show (downtown Kennewick) Online (as soon as I get a paypal account set up) * Scott Cooper will be donating the profits from shaved ice sales at the Classy Chassy Car Show. We will have the quilt there as well as classmates working the truck so come by and visit! * Papa Johns is giving us a fundraiser code for all ONLINE pizza sales in the Tri-Cities if you use the code lion94 to order the pizza. This code is good from April 27 - May 3 and can be used only in the Tri-Cities. Remember, this is not just for classmates, please tell everyone you know to get their Papa Johns pizza that week and help us out. * We now have a website for reunion information. Go to the link below to check it out! It IS free to be a member, so dont feel like you need to sign up for a paid plan in order to get the information.
