Voodoo magic was in the air! What started as a small music act by the specially invited mini ukulele big band called Voodoo Marmalade from Portugal ended in a solid, impromptu hand made party deep into the early hours. The band, which is made up of advertising-savvy and more or less young men, proved to be somewhat indestructible. Countless medleys met evergreens met chart toppers. The greatest show of the whole week in Cannes lasted for two hours and we loved every minute of it! After that no other party could entice us to come to the beach. Monotonous, unimaginative disco sounds that are way too loud? Never again! Electronic music? No, thank you! We prefer it hand crafted with love.".
