Wow... the last 6 or 7 days has been some really fun surf to start off the winter season here. Last Saturday was epic fun outer reef session to really get the winter surf season kicked off in a big way... kinda scary, so much fun! Got out most days after and caught plenty fun waves in the head high plus range, This evening was probably one of the top 10 sessions at Kanaha for me, offshore wins at 10-15 mph and overhead waves lining up, steep drops, and plenty beat downs keeping it real. The 11th and 12th Peahi got super good, with big waves and light wind, and all the boys were on it. Surfing history is being made in the last few years here on Maui with the paddle in guys charging mind bending waves, never thought possible until very recently. Tues and Wen is another session that will be remembered for epic rides and unreal beat downs. So glad everyone made it in safe. Here is a 6 min video recapping those 2 days.
