Wow, what a couple of days! Tuesday night we got word that the paperwork that we had submitted with the prospect of adopting a baby was to be shown to a mother who was due to give birth on December 22nd. Then....things escalated quickly. To make a long story short, a very early delivery and a confluence of miraculous timings led to, within 24 hours of us having first heard about this prospect, us being in custody of our brand new baby son, Kai Bishop McLeman, born 12/2/2014 at 7bs. 5oz. So apologies to those of you whom over the last couple of days have gotten cryptic emails and requests from us about why we all of a sudden have to cancel a meeting, need a class covered, etc. We very much appreciate your friendship (and probably arent done asking for favors yet....bwa ha ha ha...)
