Wow, what a great birthday! Thank you Family and Friends! 50 years ago my parents were blessed with a son. Dad and Mom were very proud parents. Then, the bad news was presented. Dad and Mom were told by doctors that their son was born with a heart defect and probably would not live to see his 1st birthday. However the good Lord was not ready for the child and let him grow. After 2 open heart surgeries, he was able to continue enjoying his hobbies, baseball, camping, fishing, dancing, skiing and working out at the gym. We all go through a bad time in our life, I was angry about my heart condition, could not play football, could not enlist in the Marines! Damn what is my purpose? To make matters worse, I lost my Father to cancer at the age of 57. Over the next 10 years I encountered many bumps in the road, and was almost at the point of giving up! Then one day, I sat down and asked the Good Lord, what is my destiny? No response, However over the next several years I became more involved in the community, volunteering and enjoyed helping the less fortunate! You have seen my postings. The Good Lord did answer! 50 years later, I have finally discovered why the Good Lord did not take me as a kid. He wants me to continue to help, and inspire others, not through money or fame, but by words of wisdom and continued community support! I want to thank everyone, would love to meet each of you in person someday
