Wow what a journey these last few weeks have been. Before I messed up my ankle, Josiah had surgery to remove his tonsils and adenoids and place a tube in his ear that was followed by ten days of around the clock medicine patrol...then just as things are looking up I fall and messed up my ankle.... then contracted the flu presumably at the ER while I was getting my ankle checked... then apparently gave it to my caretaker Chelsea... who in turn gave it to my children... all the while I was confined to the house with no weight bearing instruction from my doctor...then using a walker to get around I broke a toe on my good foot... nursed the kids through the flu as best I could from my bed... only to have Bekkah to get pneumonia two days later... but now here we are shes been fever free for almost 3 days... Josiah is doing very well... and tonight for the first time since injuring myself I took a shower almost completely unassisted... and I plan to return to work tomorrow for the first time in 2 weeks...God is good He sent family friends and church family to take care of me.... Well this journey is not yet over I can say that Im grateful for everyone who has taken time to bring me medicine, bring me food, go grocery shopping, Help with my children help with me just getting around the house and even those who just took time to come and spend time with me during this time...
