YIKES. Nope, not the Onion. Its RL, kids. Yikes. I do love the prayer offered in the comments section: O, Omniscient, Omnipotent, Omnipresent, Infallible Creator of the Universe or, possibly, Multiverse, have You ever thought that You might, just possibly might, have made a mistake in the case of our brother/sister here departed? Insignificant worms that we are, we beseech You to reconsider the merciful smiting of Your egregiously unworthy servant M. N. and to withhold the unfolding of Your supernaturally enforced laws in order to rekindle the ephemeral spark of life to which we so cravenly cling instead of embracing wholeheartedly the oblivion and resurrection to everlasting glory You have vouchsafed us. Or, on the other hand, if You really want to do just as You please then go ahead and ignore this plea because I’m sure that, deep down, You probably know better than we do what is best. Amen
