YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT TOMORROW MAY BRING Hi everyone, It has been some time since I last posted on this page but now that things have begun to settle down in my life I feel like the timing is right to resume. My friends who have been following me on my personal page would know that there has been a dramatic, exciting, unexpected and completely wonderful series of events which have unfolded during the last few months. For starters I met my soul mate and have been experiencing what has been described by many as a fairy tale romance. It does feel surreal and indeed my Prince Charming, Michael Amante, has the heart of an angel. He is no stranger to many of you and to fans of opera and classical music. While his talent knows no boundaries, it is his spirit and his humility which makes him stand out from the rest. Another major change for me is that I no longer live in Trinidad, I have migrated to the United States to be with my wonderful ,caring husband and his three beautiful children. If anyone had said to me last year around this time that my life would transform and take on this unexpected twist, I would probably have looked at him/her and said, “do you have the right Ann Marie?” Well dear friends, I didn’t know it at the time but I was about to encounter my greatest blessing and something which has no monetary value. I have found unconditional love and it has found me. There were so many unexpected and beautiful things in store for me and the reason I’m writing this is to let you know that if you feel like giving up on life and love, well you just never know what tomorrow may bring. I have gone from “Ganness to Amante” in less than a year and a suitable metaphor for my name change is “from darkness to light”. I know that life is difficult but it is also full of surprises and I truly believe each of us has a storehouse of treasures somewhere out there that are just waiting to be discovered. It takes work though to attract and manifest the things we desire. I had to change my “faith lenses” and almost adjust how my approach to almost everything I did. For starters I first had to dedicate my life and everything that I did to serving God and others. Then I had to believe that we are all connected to that universal and God force. As well I had to accept with every fiber of my being that I was connected to the things I wanted. My message to you today is that when we align with God then the treasures of the universe will be bestowed on us. As a testimony to my story and for those who have not yet seen it, I’ve attached to this post, our wedding video. It actually features Michael’s very own composition and recording, “The last morning of my life”. I have no idea of course, when that day will be, I do however know that until then I will continue to expect the best from life, no matter how difficult things may get.
