Yay or Nay? Saturday 13th Dec One of my odd children for you this morning. Made for one of my favourite lady trade customers. She is positively bursting with personality every time I see her, so is a pleasure to make these pieces for her and put a little extra effort into ensuring they leave me perfect! This one has been made in 18ct Rose Gold on the Lattice section, which has been Pave set with about a gazzillion Pink Sapphires. The bands have been made in Platinum and Pave set with white diamonds and the rubover collets with white diamonds in the central squares are also made in platinum. This is a fiddly and very long winded job for both the workshop and the setter! But we are pleased with its efficacy as an interesting Cocktail ring. In the workshop today after a surprise job late last night and an unexpected stay over. :-( Today is day 14 of 20 and my hands have decided they are no longer talking to me! My back is considering joining them in a show of solidarity. Im hoping the coffee I allowed myself this morning will appease my body parts at the picket line! ;-) Hope you all have a lovely weekend.
