Yeah I am that mom that lets her kids each bring a full bucket of sand home with them from the beach. Which they both held on their laps until we decided we had to stop at Mills for dinner. We opt for to go orders since kids are a bit dirty. I let them order ice cream with their grilled cheeses and then let them nibble on their ice cream while they waited for their order. We head home with full buckets of sand in the front seat on the floor and two dirty kids holding their cups of ice cream with ice cream/sand covered faces with ear to ear smiles. I am definitely far from a perfect mom but I bet they remember our adventure for a long time. Ps they only had a few bites of ice cream before the rest of their dinner :) and there might be some sand on my front passenger floor. #yolo
