Yeah, I have had enough. Honestly, I am sick of the bs. And I dont need ANYONE to agree with me: I am aware of the news story that ran this picture about this being Mike Brown... It is not. THIS is Jodah Cain. I know that we would all LIKE to stay in a world where this type of shit doesnt happen...but it does. Was Mike Brown an angel? No. And Neither are any of us. Did he strong arm a man and steal a handful of cigars, all unarmed? Maybe so. Should he have then been murdered? NO. The BOTTOM line that no one has been able to dispute, is that he was UNARMED and Running away, with his hands in the air, when he was murdered. Period. And I wouldnt give a damn if he was Black, White, Mexican, Cuban, italian, or green. But what I DO find interesting: We as a people, will question the SHIT out of most of the things that the media puts out, but the minute they show this picture and say THIS IS MIKE BROWN, no one questions it. Funny how we are so quick to accept the worst. Now, there is not a racist bone in my body, but you had better believe that my children know that there are separate rules for them. There are precautions that they have to take that some of their friends DO NOT. Fact: there are cops who abuse their power. Fact: there are triffling ass, criminal people in this world..of ALL colors. Fact: black on black crime is real...so is white on white, cuban on cuban, etc. Fact: the value of a life is low...and the perceived value of a black life is even lower. Rioting and looting isnt the answer. Why tear up your own shit anyways? But I DO understand the frustration and helplessness. Im not eloquent with words, but Jesse Williams is. You can hear his thoughts on the short video in comments. How about we start to VALUE all of human life? How about we all learn to respect each other, learn about each other? How about we treat people based on their own merit, and not put people into groups based on color? How about we train ourselves and our children to not see color? Then my children can have the same rules as yours. #SorryNotSorry #IWasQuietOnThisTopicForLongEnough
