Yep. I am a jerk and made heather leave McDonalds drive thru and go to Wendys instead (we eat out way too much -- this is why I dont have money combo meals are 7-8 dollars a wack) They refused to honor a simple customization that they have 1,000s of time before. I see countless people do the same thing. Order a combo meal and ask for X size Drink and X size fry. I.E. lgr fry medium drink, medium fry lgr drink, small fry lgr drink. The other day I was able to get a combo with lgr fry and a med drink. Ive probably done it hundreds of times...but tonight they wouldnt do it....so I took my money elsewhere and got a Pork BBQ cheeseburger at Wendys and e-mailed McDonalds Corporate. I am a regular customer and enjoy your food and usually have no problem with service until tonight. Usually the cashiers have no problem customizing the orders, in fact I have seen them do it for other people countless times and even my girlfriend on occassion. A customer ordering a combo meal and asking for a large drink but medium fries or a medium drink and a large fry. In fact just the other day I was able to successfully order my meal at this location with a medium drink but a large fry. Tonight however the drive thru attendant refused to do so. If your employees refuse to honor a simple request that I have done too many times in the past to count, then from now on I will take my food purchases elsewhere. Thank you Free Market -- a place wont honor a simple request that they have had no problems doing before and is a common request in the fast food business...ill just take my business and dollars elsewhere.
