Yesterday, 24 July 2014, marked the first of Greater Manchester Police Museum and Archives special summer open days. Over the coming weeks the museum will host to members of some of the Force’s specialist units answering questions about there work. Yesterday was the turn of North West Police Underwater Search and Marine Unit. Upcoming events - Thursday July 31 – Crime Scene Investigation Unit Tuesday August 5 – Mounted Unit and Traffic Unit Thursday August 7 - Crime Scene Investigation Unit Tuesday August 12 – Traffic Unit The museum is open from 10.30am to 3.30pm.
