Yesterday, I had a debate with Steve Hofstetter and several others about the validity of non-union work vs. union work. Which was fine. But that is the wrong argument because this is not non-union work, the comics are being paid ZERO. Thats not work. Thats really the only thing we need to know here. He also claimed that his entire budget for the show is 8k, which is why he cant spare a cent to pay comics. Well I had a real line producer contact me to tell me if this could be true. She said if hes not lying and that is his budget, then hes also hiring non-union editors, camera operators, costumers, etc. Pretty much everyone is not being paid fairly. And those people arent getting paid in exposure like Steve claims the comics are being paid. Just figured I should clear up some of the things that were said yesterday. Bottom line, Steve should make some changes.
