Yesterday I lay to rest my longtime canine friend and companion, Andy. I got Andy 15 years ago when I was newly single, he was my divorce present back in 99. Andy has been with me through 7 different residences in 5 different cities and countless trips & vacations. Andy loved walks, adventures, outings in the car or on a boat and meeting new dogs & people. He was a curious, high energy little guy who loved life and was always smiling. :-) Andy has been a joyful, happy, & loving dog. He was truly everyday happy. In recent months his health has declined with the signs of old age. An in-home hospice vet came to help us make his transition to doggie heaven as peaceful and tranquil as possible yesterday afternoon. I am grateful for the fun years that I shared with Andy, looking at his photos brought back a lot of great memories of the time we shared together and so did many of you. Andy meant something special to a lot of people and will be missed. Appreciating all of the love, support and care from all of you over the years. I choose 15 of his best pictures to remember our 15 years together. :-)
