Yesterday I posted a photo of a male snowy owl. The males are mostly all white, where as the females and juveniles have more markings. Earlier in the day, I found a female and she gave me a bit of a show. After watching and photographing her for a few minutes, she left her perch, flew over me, making a wide circle and back to the perch. I took a couple more photos, thanked her and left so she could continue on with her hunt, even though I wanted to give her a hug and dress her in a top hat and scarf! We have to remember, wildlife is better viewed at a distance for their own survival sake! 1/15/15
