Yesterday I said goodbye to my mom, Lynda Houston, who died after a long battle with heart disease. As many of you know, my mom and I were very close and losing her is devastating. As was her wish, there will be no funeral. That wasnt her. She wanted people to remember her as she was. She always said, No fanfare. Just get together, have a drink, and remember all the fun we had together. There will be a celebration of her life on September 13 in Belleville at Burkes funeral home. Anyone who wishes to come is welcome. Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation in her name are appreciated. Ill miss you, mom. I love you.
