Yesterday, I showed my second grade after school class my Korean textbook and they were immediately thrilled that Im learning Korean. All 8 of them swarmed around me while I had the book out and kept telling me, Good job teacher! when I showed them every page I had done (They were so impressed with the pages where you practice writing Korean letters). Today they showed up to class and told me the Korean words for grandmother, grandfather, mom, dad, brother, sister, fish, bear, cat, cow, person, and house. They also brought me books with pictures to help me understand what they were talking about. Seriously. I am so lucky. They are the sweetest kids ever!
