Yesterday, I was stopped at a red light, in the left turn lane. There was a white SUV making a left (young driver, not paying attention); as he started to make the left, the driver failed to notice the large black pickup truck traveling straight toward him at a high rate of speed. Thanks be to GOD the kid looked up and stopped. The truck, driver honking & screaming and unable to stop, swerved to the right, just missing MY FRONT BUMPER by a foot or so. I am thanking GOD that there was a close call but no contact and no accident. I truly believe that MY GUARDIAN ANGELS prevented what would have been a truly horrific head on collision, whose overflow would probably have totaled my car also. Driving away, I was loudly praising and thanking GOD, and praying for the other two drivers, both of whom were at fault, neither of whom was paying close enough attention, and neither of whom was driving defensively. Thank GOD for a close call, with no accident.
