Yesterday afternoon I was leaving Moreno Valley mall and as Im walking to my car I hear a dog barking like crazy.. Someone had left their poor, innocent dog inside of a hot car!! I call the police and sadly all she said was that they will get there win they get a chance.. What am I supposed to do just sit here and watch the dog die?! And she said no, but if someone gets shot then we have to go to them first. I was completely gutted and terrified not knowing how long the dog had been in there for! I searched for a mall security and got his attention to follow me to the car, they had left a window cracked but thats not enough air to circulate if youre locked inside of a hot car! Sadly all that the mall security said was that all we could do is just keep checking up on him because the dog was not in distress.. The poor dog had his tongue hanging out and clearly wanted to get out and he was just going to leave the dog in there?! Surely the cop came and got the dog out but he said that they werent going to take the dog away from her or anything.. I am completely disappointed with how it all ended.. How could they not take the dog away or do anything else? I do not feel like they took the situation as serious as it really was and I really do feel like they could have done more but I am just so in shock as to how someone can do that to an innocent animal.. Please everyone, DO NOT LEAVE YOUR PET OR CHILD INSIDE OF A HOT CAR!!!!
