Yesterday all the way through to last night was an absolute blast! I dont think Ive seen Rich Hayes smile that much since his early 20s and that is the best memory of all! :) With the kids away for the wkd, it was a day of adventure...trying new places, new foods & drinks, taking the train instead of the car, seeing sights from a new perspective on boat as we learned history while discovering new places to go. We did a lot of walking in the city and met some nice ppl along the way. We went all out for meal cheat day as we shared the {{BEST}} Sashimi, scallops and truffle fries for lunch and roasted pepper chicken mac and pulled pork for dinner...not to mention to die for cocktails, Starbucks and a wonderful breakfast earlier at Pamelas Diner...lets just say we are on carb overload (thank goodness my 3 Day Refresh should arrive this week as I need it badly)! Dinner was at Hard Rock Cafe while watching a live Blues concert from the Queen of Memphis and it was surprisingly awesome! After the concert we checked out the gorgeous cityscape which is always a delight (especially at night). Before catching the train back home, we watched the fountain in Station Square which is choreographed to music and lights like at the Bellagio. Our feet were killing us by the time we got home, but so worth it! We definitely took in Pittsburgh like we havent before and love our new city even more!
