Yesterday evening, my fellow KOSHH (Keep Our St Helier Hospital campaigners and I Georgia Lewis Polly Ash Dave Ash Frances Cornford David William Saleh Mamon) held an evening at Friends Meeting House in Sutton. We screened an hour-long, whistle-blowing documentary called Sell-Off: The Abolition of Your NHS and facilitated a Q&A session with three people who appear in the documentary, Dr. Bob Gill, Dr. Lucy Reynolds, and Dr. Philip Howard. About 50 people attended, from Green Party, National Health Action Party, and UKIP activists and Prospective Parliamentary Candidates, to an elderly man whos been trying to get foot care for the over 70s restored, to a lady who travelled all the way from Brighton with her lovely dog. Notably, local MPs declined our invitation. I thought it a hugely worthwhile thing for KOSHH to do and would urge everyone reading this to watch the documentary and tell their family, friends and colleagues about it.
