Yesterday, my apparel company, WOD Gear Clothing, hosted its 4th annual Team Series Competition. It takes months to plan this event and needs a host of individuals to make sure that all runs well. I wanted to take a moment to thank all of those who made the event a smashing success once again. To the community of athletes that competed yesterday. It was such a long hot day with awesome WODs! Thank you guys for once again being a part of our event. You complain little and give it your all. You are a community like no other. I am so grateful for all of the wonderful conversations that I had with all of you and many of you I call friend. To all of the judges and volunteers who spent hours in the heat and took care of the athletes and the spectators. Thank you so much! You are the glue to our event. We are grateful! To Paul Austad, Michael and Daniel Tromello! You guys have been such a core piece to WOD Gear since our inception into the world of CrossFit four years ago. Words cannot express my thanks to you. When you have both world class CrossFit athletes and the everyday athlete telling you that this is one of the best comps they have ever participated in I am grateful. You guys knocked it out of the park once again. Thanks for caring so much and thanks for being a friend to me. To my MC Kat and to DJ Rob! Well done guys! You both did such a fantastic job. Loved our morning prayer Kat! Thanks for that!!! To the spectators that came out as well to cheer everyone on! Thank you! To Forge Fitness for providing all of our equipment! To all of the vendors who came out to support their community! To the WOD Gear team who did so much without complaining. Big thanks to Jamie, Derringer and our intern Lauren. You guys rock! Finally, to my business partners Scott and Jessa. Thank you both for your tireless efforts in always wanting WOD Gear to be the best. This was no exception. I am grateful for the both of you and thank you both for giving it your all yesterday. It was a grand day my friends! Thanks again all and I apologize if I missed anyone!!!
