Yesterday was a funnday, woke up with people asking me and then #whatmusthappennow with this Agang business? Usenzani kodwa uMampele wakho etc etc I didnt respond mostly because I didnt have all the information. Also, I tried very hard to listen to her and other people who support her move to the DA. I heard that Agang was not merging with the DA yet, that Agang still exists etc etc. Here is my issue, her book goes indepth on why she didnt join the DA in the first place and why she felt the need for a party political platform. Yes, she says she doesnt belong to the DA but standing as their presidential candidate means you stand for what they stand for. I refuse, completely and absolutely refuse anything that is linked with the DA. The DA has failed Westen Cape. People wanted a new opposition party because the parties before us were not an alternative. SoAgangSA has lost alot of voters. Alot!!! I still respect Mampele as an individual but not so much a political figure, transparency was all people asked for. Just 3days before that, the Agang twitter account assured people that Mampele would not be involved with the DA. I made a statement about the history of the DA a few months ago. The DA has never been about the working class black, ever. They existed in apartheid, not opposing apartheid and now we must believe because they have a woman in power they have transformed. Nonsense!!! So what must happen now you ask? Vote EFF, at the moment they are the most transparent of the parties in SA. Also, if DA or ANC win the next elections I am never coming back. Yes, yes Mampele will still be Agang leader but insult with my intelligence here people, she will never ever be independent of the DA now. Ever!! The citizens are disappointed and so they should Lastly AgangSA members, ANC members, whatever party you belong to. You are allowed to change your mind 50times if you want, that is what a democracy means. You owe no-one your vote!!! So EFF welcomes all AgangSA members who are crossing floors. Mampele did however fail the population in that many now hold mxm, better the devil you know so back to ANC all politicians are the same mos. Please dont go back to ANC, I still hold 5more years of ANC rule is too much. Way too much, anything but DA or ANC and that it seems is EFF
