Yesterday was my last day at Halfords in Ormskirk before I move to Preston store. A transfer may not seem like much to many people but to me it really is. For years I have wanted to fly the nest only to be told a barrage of rubbish excuses as to why I cant. Now its time for me to go and I get very reminiscent. I literally walked into an empty room and help build that shop shelf by shelf. Not on my own either, never have I met such a fantastic group of people. We were all just thrown in the deep end and dealt with it. Yes we didnt all get along and we didnt all understand one another or why we were here but we had some laughs. When it came down to just Stephen Kay and I, and we realised we were the last 2 of the original crew, that was a shock to the system. But we dealt with it and were amazing. An even greater shock came when I became the last as Ste, my long time crutch, left to become a washing machine salesman or something. I now leave that underdog shop to do great things without me. Like getting people to meet and hang out with people they would normally never hang out with. This is JB signing out #353Original
