Yesterday was the start of Carers Week- a wonderful opportunity to celebrate carers and recognise the extraordinary contribution they make to their families, friends and the wider community. We started Carers Week with a ‘Just for You’ Carer’s Pamper Day to show support to a group of local female Carers. And Wow! What an amazing day we did have at Kelvin Homestead. Firstly I would like to say a big thank you to a group of incredible ladies who came together so easily when asked to help make another group of incredible ladies feel special. Thank you to the Brand New Day team on yesterday Michelle, Leanne, Melissa, Therese & Hayley. Thank you to Melinda Tzortzis Makeup Artist & Beauty Therapist. Thank you to Sandra Greaves from Sandras One Stop Beauty Shop. Thank you to Jessica Pearce from Beauty with Jessica, Your Nutrimetics Consultant. Thank you to Robyn Luc from Camden. Thank you to Natalie Baxter from PartyLite Currans Hill. Thank you to Priceline North Rocks. Thank you to Carers NSW. And thank you – Elizabeth Brennan from Kelvin Homestead for the beautiful space, vista and welcoming hospitality. I think everyone there today would have to agree they were inspired by the stories and strength each participant had within them and everyone enjoyed the beautiful surroundings.
